hantaran tak beli complete lagi. rumah sewa tak cari lagi. honeymoon takde lagi. barang banyak tak complete lagi. macam-macam tak finalize lagi. tak bayar itu ini lagi. sigh sigh sigh!

workmanship cantik & kemas. leather lining lembut. padding pun banyak. tapi belah kiri macam ketat sikit dekat tempat pijak. so, kena pakai selalu la bagi longgar. amy cakap, kalau tak jadi jugak, bagi kat dia balik. nanti dia expand.

for photobooth, i suruh Mr. E setelkan buat macam gambar atas tu. i tengok cara DIY guna polisterin je. buat bentuk crescent, ptotong, pastu letak glitter2, gantung pakai fishing wire kat atas ceiling.

tapi Mr. E nak sangat guna kayu. dia cakap lag kuku & durable. up to u, dear. i ingat nak yang senang je. i prefer letak curtain gelap belakang crescent moon tu. sebab baru nampak ke'glitter'an moon tu. hihi. harap-harap dapat la macam dalam gambar atas ni. lantak la Mr. E macam mana dia nak buat pun. janji i dapat apa i nak.

i memang kurang minat prop misai mulut yang biasa-biasa orang dok jual & DIY. i suka yg more extraordinaire. lol. i kan over. payah juga nak DIY prop masquerade mask & floral tu. i ingat nak letak prop bulu-bulu juga. so boleh letak kat leher serta bergambar dengan perasaan "akulah diva abad ini". hahaha.

VIP Doorgift Paperbag

untuk VIP doorgift, i bagi towel mandi 1, 1 doorgift box isi ferrero roche 2 biji (adult guest doorgift) & 1 popcorn (kids doorgift). VIP tu bukan VIP menteri ke apa ye. VIP tu macam family, crew majlis, kalau cukup, bridesmaid & dulang girls. ni la paper bag nye. simple je.

i bajet 70 je paper bag. sebab kos mahal. i beli paperbag kat Wakim (link), harga RM1.50. size besar juga. esok adik laki i pergi belikan. sebab i tak berani pergi jalan kaki sorang-sorang area tu. nanti nak deco sikit la paperbag tu. takkan kosong bodoh je kan? tapi idea takde lagi nak deco camne. i suka doily paper gak. hihi.

ni kain mum untuk bertandang. lawa kan? baby pink lace & baby blue satin crepe. saja tunjuk sebab nak bagitahu i yang beli kain ni kat jakel, jalan TAR. orang tu letak pakej 4 meter satin biasa + 2 meter lace RM250. i dapat bargain, 4 satin crepe + 2 meter lace jadi RM200. i pun tak sangka i ni pandai buat muka kesian. rezeki mum kot :D

DIY bunga pahar & First Fitting Story

hi.

my blogging mood turn upside down. not constant. i love reading blogs. but meeee, when the blogging mood is not 'there', all my fingers feel so heavy to lift up & write new entry. haha. this will be a long post (lump sum in 1 entry).

DIY Bunga Pahar Using Fabric Flower

talking about preparation, my mission to DIY bunga pahar is accomplished. yea! yahoo!!

I planned to make 110 flowers only. but mom took 2 flowers to give to my aunty for sample. yes, 2 flowers only. *oh mom you're so mean. 2 flowers took +/- 3 hours to complete, you know*. now i have to squeeze more time & energy to make it 2 flowers more. pffttt -_-

I am not such a patient person.only God knows how I push myself to do this DIY stuffs. I sew the flowers, mum & sis will do the net casing, the holder and the final finishing. the toughest part was done by me. * clap clap* my DIY bunga pahar were all handmade with love. it means that it did not involve any sewing machine, hiring someone to do it, etc. i sew every single items & details on my bunga pahar. no glue are required. rajin kan?

At the early stage, I managed to get 3 flowers only, then count the total flowers that I've made. continue sewing again 2-3 flowers, then recount. very tak penyabar punya orang. haha. after I completed about 40 flowers, I almost give up. like seriously I'm so tired with DIY thingy. sigh. Dearest mum keep babbling about my pending project. I forced myself real hard to get it done. Unfortunately, i'm having backpain when the total flower hits number 70. lucky number. I stopped my project for about 3-4 weeks.

Last week, I continued to DIY again. Its not fair to give up on such a little thing. btw, I'm half way done. I sew, sew and sew ignoring the total numbers of flowers that I've made. *yeah, I lied. I sew about 10 flowers, then count, sew, recount. improvement right? hahaha -_-*

Voila! I completed my goal.. and accidentally I got 3 extra flowers. I miscalculated the total flowers, then I sew more than what I planned! so total, I got 115 bunga pahar. minus 2 flowers reserved for my aunty. Happy & satisfied with the ending. I'm proud with myself too *perasan*

if someone wants to tiru like me, email/gives credit to me. * kejam gila* haha. no laaa. the process is quite complicated, so I'm willing to help and provide some tips if you ask me personally.

sorry, the quality pictures from mobile phone were quite bad. time ni tak berapa kemas sangat. time awal-awal buat. it improves slowly. i made several colours. the first & second layer made from chiffon, third layer is cotton polka dot. net tu akan letak wajik and tied up. ♥ ♥ ♥ it!

First Fitting

I went to my very first fitting on last friday (16 march 2012). All my family's attire was designed & tailor by Dato Roy Azman. My reception dress also done by his team. I was very excited & satisfied with my dress even it is not a complete real dress yet. It met my expectations. I'm so in love with my dress. sebijik macam I design & draw. *dreaming*

I'm really hope this feeling will last forever. haha. If my bridezilla mode turned on, everyone will run away leaving me with negative thoughts & they will complain how banyak songeh I am. believe me. haha.

Wanda' dress inspiration

no need to explain. if you are a true Malaysian, you will know him (the designer) & her (the model) :p

Wanda's real dress

the material used is satin crepe. the cost is about RM18 per metre (if I'm not mistaken). Dato Roy needed 3.5 metre only. He bought the kain by himself. The border lace cost RM70 per metre. We bought 1.5 metre at Jakel. quite expensive for me. the workmanship cost RM500. quite pricey jugak.

Estimation Total Cost for Wanda's Dress: Material RM18 x 3.5 = RM63

+Border lace RM 70 x 1.5 = 105

+Workmanship = RM500

The estimation total cost = RM668

the workmanship is neat, superb & meet my requirements. the cutting is almost purrr.. fect! my jaw was dropping when I saw her dress for the 1st time. this pic didn't judge the real prettiness. it looks far much better upfront. i'm quite choosy when it comes to workmanship. you can trust my taste. hihihi :p

Hafiy's baju melayu

I didn't design any baju melayu for guys. This ss Dato Roy's signature design. Modern contemporary baju melayu. I didn't take a picture from the back. the baju got unique design at the back. Dato Roy mixed around with two different fabrics. Hafiy will match his baju with blue songket sampin and pearl butang baju melayu. This Workmanship also great! Nice isn't?

The cost? For guys attire in my family, we spent more on the material itself, to balance with the cheap upah. haha. It's baju melayu, friends. the standard workmanship cost is between RM70-350 only. Pity if u guys. *jangan marah*

the material used is Valentro silk or Valentro satin. something sound like that The cost about RM33 per metre. for Hafiy, we bought 5 metre. the workmanship is RM150. actual price is RM300. Since we invested alot on Dato' Roy's boutique, he gave us great discount. 50% for guy's attire only. Great bargain. happyyy... :D

Estimation Total Cost for Hafiy's Baju Melayu: Material RM33 x 5 = RM165

+Workmanship = RM150

The estimation total cost = RM315

No teaser for my baju. haha. Will review after the real event. Mum's dress need alteration. ketat. haha. Dad's baju melayu also need alteration. Yasmin's dress is still on the making.

Dato Roy Azman from Roy Busana Anggun highly recommended for both man & woman's attire. I love the outcome.

Wedding - 2 months++ left

hi & salam all!

i have edited my blog template. cute aite? haha. but this new design had eliminated some of my widgets, including my wedding checklist. adoi.

so, i have to create a new wedding checklist. tapi tak boleh nak buat checklist tu as blog footer macam dulu dah. nak create tab baru khas untuk checklist pun tak boleh. sigh sigh sigh! please help this noob girl. helpp...

i'm done with my first fitting for reception dress. it was awesome schmowsome! kena panjangkan part skirt dress je, kecilkan badan. i prefer not to post any teaser of my reception dress. but i will post the pics of my family with their first fitting session. yeah, dato' roy from roy busana anggun design & tailor all of our baju for my big day.

salam readers.

mood nak berblogging makin lama makin merundum. payah betul. haha. quick updates!

1. borang kebenaran nikah dah suruh Mr. E fill, bawa saksi jumpa qariah, dapatkan surat kebenaran nikah. kene remind selalu. Mr. E selalu malas & terlupa -_-
2. HIV test 23 march ni.
3. first fitting baju reception dengan designer 16 march ni.
4. collect reception shoes dengan amy hujung bulan ni. standby duit jangan lupa.
5. dah booked jurunikah untuk nikah kat dewan nanti. thanks ustaz manaf from masjid putra, putrajaya. sangat helpful :)
6. dah send script & wedding tentatives kat emcee.
7. i tak pergi redang island. sebab backache. grrrr... tapi i spent some quality times with Mr. E ♥
8. Mr. E competition next week. remind him: kereta dia nak kena sevis, nak pergi tailor buat blazer baru, beli helmet, jodphurs, riding gear! more training!

he said "we know our job. trust us. we are expert. we've been dealing with emcee works for 5-6 years (as part time). we managed to handle event in various languages; mandarin, english, arabic & bahasa malaysia" *triple wows!*

but this over-excited bride doesn't believe the concept of accountability. she worries too much. she wants to do everything by her own. she did some researched, googled, brain-stormed, to create her own wedding tentative & script for emcee. the emcee so lucky to have me as their client. hahaha. why not r?

i'm positive today. backpain & foot numbness slowly reduced.Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah for being so kind and generous to me. Even I'm not a good muslim to deserve little attention from You. I hope this will last forever.

Doorgifts

I'm not showing off. I just want to share my little happiness with you. hehe. takut nanti dah kelam kabut, lupa semua. i consider my blog as a diary. mesti lepas kahwin rindu project-project wedding. precious memories.

my doorgift box is something look like this. simple je. box & the gift inside will be sponsored by my dad's friend, Mr. Ah Yau. Alhamdulillah. He is very generous, cool business people,talkative, he is a millionaire at such a young age! he is a millionaire when he was 28! maybe 27?

I never expect anyone would sponsor me anything. we are not from orang senang family, neither mum's side nor dad's side. we stand on our own feet. my bf's family pun bukan dari orang-orang senang.

forgot to tell you, my bf is orphan. makcik & pakcik dia yang jaga dia dari kecil sampai sekarang. makcik dia sendiri pun ada 9 orang anak kandung + 5 orang anak angkat (my bf's siblings). so you can imagine macam mana life dia dulu.

back to the story, apa i merepek entah. i actually nak doorgfit box like jar bottle. tapi dah orang sponsor, jangan nak demand lebih-lebih la kan. ambil je. isi dia, i letak ferrero roche 2 biji (sebab tak muat nak letak 3 biji). pastu tambah dengan coklat daim kot.

doorgift i prefer bagi makanan then bagi benda mengarut. sebab i selalu buang je kalau dapat pasu ke sudu ke keychain ke apa. -_-

or maybe, I nak letak 1 biji ferrero roche, 1 biji lagi ferrero rondoir. my all time favourite. i can't get enough of this chocolate. totally awesome!! go & buy at your nearest chocolate store!

ni untuk adult gift la. i budget 1000 doorgift box + 2000 chocolate la untuk isi dia. 1000 lagi chocolate standby apa-apa hal. untuk mengelakkan pembaziran, i tak letak TQ tag ke apa bagai. haha. malas gila. lagipun tak tahu nak gantung/lekat kat celah mana tag tu dekat box.

untuk kids, i bagi ni.

i budget dalam 400-500 gifts untuk kids. ratio die half & half. 200 candies, 200 popcorn. macam tu lah. yang ni memang sticker TQ tag dah siap lekat. free with purchase. tapi tak boleh customize la sticker tu design macam mana. ahh, i tak kesah pun. takde pun ok, ada pun takpe.

Kinda-Henna

I decided not to wear henna on my big day. adat je pun. bukan hukum Islam ok. Mummy cakap ok, nenek cakap ok, belah lelaki pun kata ok. tapi makcik-makcik belah I kata tak ok. makcik-makcik & sepupu bf i pun kata tak ok. ggrrrr... kuku i suka hati la nak letak ke tak kan.

I want french manicure. Fyi, i jarang gila potong kuku *buruk perangai* I like to keep my nails long. I suka tengok kuku panjang dekat jari-jari runcing yang panjang. macam witch. haha.

my mum selalu marah-marah, siap print kat internet bagi i baca, artikel "dosa membela kuku panjang sama seperti dosa memiliki sekandang ekor babi. ha kau. for me, as long i jaga kuku bersih, make sure wuduk kena air kat kuku tu, mandi wajib pay attention kat area tu, takpe la kan. memang la tak elok. kuman kumpul banyak-banyak. but, i keep my nails happy, clean & tidy all the time. i'm a clean freak. i bring hand sanitizer 24/7 with me. i wash hand frequently whenever i touch something.

pasal dosa kuku panjang, i'm not sure about that. hadith tu tak dapat dibuktikan kesahihannya. itu pendapat orang-orang bijak pandai alim ulama'. for me, janganlah samakan kuku dengan sekandang babi. too much. melampau sangat bunyi nya kan. sebab i pernah cari juga hadith Nabi Muhammad s.a.w atau ayat al-Quran yang cakap dosa kuku panjang equal to dosa membela sekandang babi ke tak, tapi tak jumpa pun. so... it's up to us. we are the one who mould ourselves. it just my opinion. please correct if i'm wrong.

talking about food, i have zero idea.

i'm not a food lover for sure. i'm pescetarian.

what is pescetarian?

pergi kenduri, i memang cari sayur je. kalau nak makan lauk-lauk ayam/daging, i ambil kuah/sambal je.

bukan gedik diet ke apa. tekak i memang tak boleh sumbat ayam, daging, kambing, etc. tak tahu kenapa. seafood boleh pulak i telan. but not all seafood. sotong i kurang, sebab liat. malas nak kunyah. lol. ikan saiz besar/ikan sungai/ikan banyak tulang pun, i tak makan juga. sebab i rasa geli & hanyir.

back to the story.

I can't decide food menu for my wedding. sebenarnya lebih kepada, tak reti langsung. lagipun, dewan I memang tak boleh outsource caterer luar. if you anak menteri/artis/kenal orang dalam bolehlah. in my case, memang tak boleh la kan.

so makanan tak banyak choice. the minimum rate untuk catering RM20.00 per pax untuk buffet reception. tapi i rasa la kan, lauk tu kalau pakai caterer luar rasanya dalam RM10-12 je kot. mine is slightly higher sebab I customized sikit & tambah lauk.

ikut hati i, memang i nak lauk banyak lagi. tapi memang takkanla kan. guest i ramai. kang tambah lauk lagi, more cost involved.nikah punye food quo tak dapat lagi. adoi. this is the best solution we have.

I memang tak minat candy buffet. for me, tak practical. sebab I prefer yang betul-betul stall with unlimited sweet foods. setting meja lawa-lawa pun, budak-budak datang kat balang kaca tu, berterabur habis semua. that's my opinion la. everyone got different taste right?

I ingat nak tambah live cotton candy, popocorn & ice cream. tapi macam tak sesuai pula. ice cream tak boleh, sebab i buat indoor. management dewan tak nak dewan/banquet area kotor dengan stain ice cream yang terjatuh nanti kat atas lantai ke apa. even air minum pun die control flow tau. takut guest ambil sendiri kang, tumpah-tumpah. untuk cotton candy & pop corn, tak sesuai sebab ruang takde. dewan sempit, kat luar dewan pula, penuh dengan meja. sigh~

so, i've decided untuk buat doorgift je cotton candy & pop corn tu untuk kids.

Sakit pinggang & Wedding Cards

hai & salam readers.

I sakit belakang gila-gila hari ni. haih. it has been 2 weeks already. i rasa pinggang dah macam ok. sakit sikit-sikit je. i pun menggatal pergi naik Pablo Picasso (nama kuda tu la). padahal mommy dah pesan "lepas ni jangan naik kuda ke apa-apa dah"

padan la muka kau lana.

kaki melecet teruk, habis sengal satu badan sebab dah lama tak naik kuda. paling best sekali, pinggang makin tambah-tambah sakit. yang sebelum ni sakit tak baik lagi . konon ingat naik kuda, boleh terapi la sangat. cara riding pun silap, memang tak jadi terapi dah la. kalau naik cara betul, memang la jadi terapi bagus.

bersin or batuk pun boleh buat pinggang sakit. naik kereta, tekan brake ada bam pun, boleh rasa nak menjerit pinggang sakit. bejalan sakit, duduk sakit, baring pun sakit. bila belakang sakit, memang semua kerja tak dapat buat dengan baik. turun/naik tangga pun slow-slow je sebab sakit. solat pun kene slow-slow. kalau tak menggigil tahan sakit.

klinik dah pergi. macam biasa la, dia bagi injection & painkiller. isnin ni insyaAllah try jumpa ustaz pula. kenapa I sakit-sakit je sekarang ni. dah pinggang, melarat kat bahu & tangan. lepas da baik, peha & lutut pula sakit.

Total spent is RM655 for 500 cards

they give me extra copies kad tu. in case i tesilap tulis ke apa kan. dia sendiri tak sure berapa extra kad tu. pastu dapat free kalendar 2012 dalam 200 keping. ala kalendar panjang sekeping tu. comel je kalendar tu.

I rasa murah kad I. ala, majlis i pun biasa-biasa je. buat apa kad mahal-mahal kan?

tapi ,tiba-tiba kawan-kawan i yang pergi Bandung cakap, harga tu kat sana dah boleh dapat kad hard cover cantik. pulak dah.

then, I heard overall orang lain dengan total RM655 boleh dapat free paper bag, TQ tag, bunting, etc. hurrmm...

is that true?

i rasa tak pe lah. it depends on what we want la kan.

for me, kad-kad kahwin is highly recommended! printing dia superb! design dia tak macam kad-kad biasa. tak macam copy paste punya artwork. lebih modern, contemporary, chic, stylish. they have team yang very passion buat kerja design kad ni. kalau tak percaya tengok website dia. they also very professional!

takdelah macam sesetengah vendor tu kan, die google je gambar/amik kat devianart, ambil gambar tu letak kat kad dia. pastu cakap dia design sendiri. i jumpa ramai da kottt. pastu cas 1 kad sampai 1.50 & above. tak baik tau.

conclusion, i ♥ my card alot.

MUA, shoes, baju nikah & bunga pahar

as i mentioned in the previous post, my nikah date has changed from 31 may 2012 to 2 june 2012 which going to be the same day with my reception.

i have informed all the vendors.

MUA

MUA is my major concern. OMG.

then, Kak Laila Rohani called me (after I sms-ed her.. baik gila kan?), she gave me her friend's number, Kak Norhaien. She is also MUA for TV3 & she is Kak Laila's senior.

I called Kak Ain directly as soon as I got her number She said she is available on 2nd june!

Her rate is 500 per session. For me, it is consider affordable for a senior MUA who is responsible for many faces in TV3 tv show. Be it Wanita Hari ini, MHI, Nona, Remaja, Muzik Muzik, etc.

I cakap I nak hire dia untuk nikah. sebab resepsi dah ada. i nikah 9 pagi, dalam pukul 12 baru dia mekap. then pukul 1.14 zuhur, I nak solat, 1.45 ketibaan dekat dewan.

tapi according to kak Laila, tak sempat nak buat macam tu. biasanya, kalau ketibaan pukul 12, pukul 9 dah mekap, then kalau sanding pukul 5, pukul 2.30 dah makeup. gulp.

then I discussed with mom, she said better buat ketibaan awal. dalam pukul 1.30. then habis je reception pukul 4, i boleh shoot balik hotel untuk kejar zohor.

"Islam tu mudah & tak menyusahkan. makeup tu simple & bende kecik yang remeh je. nanti kita arrange la macam mana. don't worry"

Mom suggest, Kak ain will do my face for nikah, then touch up for reception. Her rate for 1 makeup + touch up is RM700 + FOC groom's touch up for nikah & reception. greatt!!

Then, I pun apa lagi. grab this opportunity! No deposit needed. She lives nearby by wedding hall! What a coincidence!

She told me to email types of make up that I like & email gambar muka i yang gelap ni. dalam bulan 5 i akan jumpa dia lagi, bawa baju, bincang mekap macam mana i nak, colour palette apa, concept apa, contact lense colour apa, etc.

Wedding Shoes

I custom made my wedding shoes (for nikah & bertandang) with Absolutely Gorgeous by Amy. (Link)

I copied 100% design like the above picture. But mine is off white in colour. The shoes will be ready to collect by end on March. yea!

The story is, I set an appointment with Amy several times, tapi asyik tak jadi je last minit. at lastt, I went to Amy's house.

Frankly to say, I am definitely NOT a heel wearer. I like to see people with heels. It looks sexaayy. But I can't stand the pain. 3 inch heels can cause me sore, cuts, melecet, fatigue, macam-macam la. kalau boleh nak pergi kerja, nak pakai japanese sandal (selipar jepun) je tau.

But, when the first time I wear Amy's sample shoes. I am beyond speechless. So comfortable!! Even clarks, hush pups, nine west, stuart weitzman, pun tak seselesa macam kasut ni.

I tried 5 inch heels with 2.5 inch platform. too high right? it was my first time pakai kasut setinggi tu. the leather lining, the cushioning, soft padding is just perfect! lembut sangat dalam kasut tu.

In my opinion, design kasut dah tak penting langsung, kalau dalam dia sendiri tak selesa. betul tak? Amy took the measurement of my feet, I choose the design (as above), paid deposit, went back home happily.

I just realized that my left foot is slightly smaller compared to my right foot with 0.2 cm. hehe. :)

Baju nikah

rasa nak buat balik kain baju nikah. the outcome is not as expected to be. *mode tensi*

I received my nikah veil. hihi. it was ok je la for me. bolehla. made from chiffon silk, in blue pastel colour, D shape, plain with simple beadwork around the hem, length macam 'fingertip'.

Bunga Pahar

To make it really special (orang akan simpan buat kenangan), my bunga pahar is DIY by me :D

sekarang baru buat 60 bunga pahar. gigih uols. hahaha. 1 bunga tu 2-3 jam baru boleh siap. penat gilaaa. nasib baik mum, wanda tolong. It was mum's idea. no wonder she helps. pfftt.. -_-

i put wajik instead of egg. wajik is terengganu's special dessert. Click link for more info (Link).
