Solemnization

i'm so happy today. many big things can be slashed down from my list. i called the management of my solemnization place (Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin a.k.a Masjid Besi) to confirm my booking date, agreement, etc.

so far, things run smoothly. this is why early preparation is very important. my application had already received by the management staff and the permission letter will be issued in march/april 2012. The mosque will provide PA system (microphone for Mr. Equin & wali - my dad) for akad, bantal nikah, small table (for signing legal documents) and also carpet (tempat untuk Mr. Equin duduk time akad berlangsung)

i don't need to buy/rent bantal nikah, bring my own carpet, and even setting PA system. It is all provided. The management staff of Masjid Besi, Puan Laila is a very nice lady. She entertain my inquiries and give details explanation about the procedure.I just need to pay RM20 for renting those items. the setting will be done my mosque workers & my wedding planner, wanda.

I change my solemnization time from 3.00 pm to 11.00 am. my mom prefer to do it on morning. I choose to do my solemnization at the right side of prayer hall, which facing putrajaya lake. nice view! after the solemnization, there will be small makan-makan for 50 pax. tak book lagi catering. hewhewhew. my outdoor photoshoot session will be followed after makan-makan and zuhur prayer.

for those who wants to do solemnization at masjid besi, yes it is highly recommended!

Hall Deco for Wedding Reception

i booked my hall deco with one of the bridal house in KL. don't ask me who is it. haha. Since I am in tight budget, I just reuse the deco. it is included in package. so i can't customize it according to my likings. actually, i fall in love with Nas Great Idea & KS entourage deco. but what to do, i have to forget about it. Yes, I can spend on it, but my mom will reduce the budget for other items like my wedding dress (absolutely not!), wedding hall (cannnooottt...), food (neverrrr, mum!) or the photographer (no way mum!). haha. so i choose to step back and back to the reality.

I just reused their dais template. I choose a very unique dais design. I think less people will use that design. I hope so. I mix & match the dais, walkway, arch & the flower arrangement. artificial flowers je:(

I'm not stick to a theme colour. I used pink, red, cream, purple, white. haha. rojak right? i hope it turns out really well. if not, bridezilla wi;l gggrrr... can't wait to see the outcome. I'm not into deco with tonnes of flowers, curtain, roman pillar, backdrop panel, etc. i like something chic & unique. i use less flower for my deco. those package does not include main table deco. i want to DIY paper fan to put at my dais prop, DIY my main table deco, DIY guestbook deco. I use round table for makan beradap, so simple table deco would be fine.

Now, i want to update my wedding check list. yeehaaa!!!
