just to share with u some of my health infos. to be frank, my parents raised me up with a very good healthy diet, i think.
first, my mum prohibits us to eat junk foods, sweets, or any kind of foods which contained high MSG (monosodium glutamate - click here for more info). but sometimes, we try to break the rules. hehehe. we will compromise with dad to buy us some of that prohibited foods. we made a mutual agreement,
"dad u buy us this foods, ****, i just watched it in tv yesterday, all my friends said it was tasty. if u buy that food, we will promise to massage u for 1 week, wake up earlier on weekend and be a good kids," -_- pathetic promise from desperate kids. hahahaha.
yes, for sure dad will buy that food for us, and we eat happily and forgetting our earlier promise to dad. it just gone with d wind. lol.
second, my parents train us to drink plain water only. there is no such milo, nescafe, coffee, tea, etc. cool water is illegal for us. so, u won't find any plain water inside d fridge. before i forgot, only susu dibenarkan dalam fridge.
so, when we have guest coming over to my house, my mom will ask us to go to d grocery to buy tea sachets or coffee powder or milo or sunkist or even sugar. yes, we consume less sugar. 1 kg sugar last about 2 months and above. sometimes, we even forgot we do not have any sugar supply in our food stock.
some people who do not used to our eating habit, they feel weird. including my bf. whenever he comes to my house, i will prepare those drinks to him earlier.
when i go lepaking with frens at mamak, my drinks order will be, the best drinks in the world.... *drumrolls*... urm, plain warm water. then the frequent question will popped up
"why plain water? are u broke?" or other bongok question
"why plain water? u are so kampung". -_-
even in hotel, nice restaurant, fast food restaurant, someone's house, i will request for plain water/mineral water. if they do not serve for plain water, i will bring mine instead.
my family bukan jenis meat eater. our main daily lauk is fish. sometimes we add some seafood like prawn, squid, etc.
